Dr. Alina I. Forray is a public health professional and academic in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She holds an MD and a PhD in Medical Sciences from Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, focusing on nutrition and dietary behavior. Dr. Forray is also a certified Specialist Physician in Public Health and Management.

She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Iuliu Hațieganu University, educating hundreds of students annually. Concurrently, she is the Deputy Director of the Center for Health Innovation at Babeș-Bolyai University, fostering capacity building in healthcare innovation.

Her extensive experience includes scientific research focusing on global health, health policy, and social determinants of health in Romania. This work involves extensive international engagement, collaborating with esteemed researchers and institutions across more than 20 countries. Dr. Forray has successfully written, secured, and implemented research and capacity-building projects totaling over €2.5 million, contributing significantly to healthcare development through initiatives funded by EIT Health, Erasmus+, Volkswagen Foundation, and others.

Dr. Forray has published over 15 high-impact articles on critical public health topics during her PhD. She is dedicated to advancing health systems through research, education, and project management, and actively engages with top international organizations like Health Systems Global, the European Health Management Association, and the European Public Health Association.
