Alma has extensive international experience across the banking and tech industries and has worked and studied in 5 countries . During her time at Citibank she handled corporate multi-country deals and developed solutions tailored to a more sustainable banking sector. She has had the opportunity to launch innovation in the payables and receivables world and roll it out in Asia. After 5 years in banking Alma has pursued her MBA at INSEAD and decided to switch industries to the fast paced exciting technology world. Currently, at Medallia she is developing data insights programs for companies to operationalize the way that they interact with their customers and coaches executives to design business change based on data. Social impact has always had a special place in Alma’s heart and so she contributed to shaping 2 organizations: Village Life and Artocene. Village Life is a community based travel platform to create income opportunities for remote communities from rural Romania and Artocene is a platform which is meant to bring arts into hospitals to improve the recovery of patients. In 2013 Alma has had the opportunity to become a One Young World ambassador and connect to young people from all over the world that are aiming to make a difference through their projects and businesses. Alma’s passions are related to mind, body and soul. For the mind…Alma’s a big book worm and an avid learner; for the body, Alma’s a keen skier, cyclist, hiker, and really anything that’s outdoors and for her soul Alma’s singing in a choir and is an enthusiastic yogi.
