With a service-oriented humility in the public and community interest and a profound sense of purpose regardless of the scale and scope of the challenge Andrei describes him self very briefly : doer with an enterprise mindset and independent and yet a team player. He is active in the private sector in the field of industrial production for passive infrastructure related to transmission lines, telecommunication and oil & gas markets with focus on expansion of product range and customer portfolio and cultural organisation upgrade and transition to become a sustainable steel processor.
The appetite for politics was strongly related to the desire to serve and he served as MP in Romanian Chamber of Deputies as one of the youngest elected members in the legislature 2016-2020, as Secretary of Committee for Budget, Finance and Banks Committee and member of Committee for Information Technologies and Information with numerous public policies promoted coming into force during his term in several fields: fiscal, digitization & debureaucratization, agriculture, bullying-psychological violence, surveillance infrastructure for safety improvement.
Andrei is a fellow of the first edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2018 and 2019.
