
Andrei Vitiuc
AYLP Fellow 2024
Born and raised in Bucharest, Andrei graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University (USA) with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Geography and two minors in Arabic & Italian Studies. Andrei also explored business of fashion and luxury brands in a semester abroad at Cattolica University in Milan, Italy. In 2023, Andrei graduated the master’s Program in Communication and EU Affairs at SNSPA.
A former professional tennis player, Andrei started his career in advertising, working both in strategy and business development. In 2021, Andrei spent one year as a Public Policy Assistant for a Romanian MP on topics such as worker’s rights or automation of work. In 2022 Andrei joined American Councils for International Education and Coordinated the Open World Program, a US Congress project implemented in partnership with the US Embassy in Romania.
Being passionate about education, Andrei has been also involved in steering the Aspire, one of the most prestigious youth leadership projects in CEE, as an Executive Director. An incoming Vice-Curator of the Global Shapers Hub in Bucharest, Andrei still devotes part of his time towards building education programs impacting.
