Anna Pellegatta works as Manager in the International Affairs department of Terna, Italy’s operator of the electricity transmission system. Based in Brussels, Anna manages relations with stakeholders from EU Institutions and industry associations and oversees Terna’s EU policy and advocacy activities. She is also the Chair of the Policy & Communications Group of ENTSO-E, the European Association of transmission system operators established by the European Commission.

Previously, Anna worked as Associate Director at the Digital Forensic Research Lab of the Atlantic Council, a US-based think tank. From Berlin, Washington DC, and then Brussels, her worked focused on identifying hybrid warfare operations from State and non-State actors, overseeing the implementation of counter-disinformation projects, managing relations with stakeholders, and growing the DFRLab’s team globally.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Anna worked for International Game Technology (IGT), the TransAtlantic Business Council, and Carisma, an Italian industrial investment holding. Anna holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bocconi University in Milan, a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Security Studies from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance. Anna is an Aspen Italy Junior Fellow since January 2020.
