With a background in political science and international affairs, Bogdan Deleanu is an expert in European Affairs currently leading the team of MEP Dragoș Pîslaru in the European Parliament.

Bogdan has work extensively in international affairs, serving for the European Union in the Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee, for the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations and cooperating with NATO and other international organizations. He worked on foreign and security policy, including cybersecurity, moved to human rights and development issues and more recently, employment and labour affairs in the EU.

In his free time, he co-founded Europuls and led it, as executive director, for several years. He led the team that developed the Eurosfat Forum between 2016-2019, an event that is not established as the largest EU affairs event in Romania. He founded and led RO100Brussels, the largest Romanian civic organization in 2018-2019 operating in the Diaspora. In 2020 he became the president of the Benelux branch of the PLUS party.

Bogdan is a fellow of the third edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, Spring Cohort 2021.
