Bruno Leroy is the Founding Partner of the independent law firm Leroy si Asociatii and member of the Paris and Bucharest Bar Association.

He has been working in Romania for over twenty years, for the largest part heading the Bucharest office of the international law firm Gide. This office became the independent law firm Leroy şi Asociaţii in February 2014.

Leroy şi Asociaţii has gained national and international recognition for its contribution to some of the most significant investments and transactions in Romania.

With almost two decades of cross-disciplinary experience in the Romanian market, Mr. Leroy has advised on headline M&A, real estate transactions, project & development finance, and on sensitive European law and competition matters. This experience provides him with valuable insight into a broad range of issues investors are facing in building successful businesses in Romania.

Since 1998, he has witnessed the country’s economic growth and contributed to the completion of several successful foreign investments in the country starting with the privatization of Dacia/Renault; advising the world’s leading dairy products company on the acquisition of ALBALACT on the first significant voluntary takeover bid carried out on the Bucharest Stock Exchange; advising a major Eastern European energy group in the partial takeover of a natural gas supply activity carried out by a prominent local operator.

Bruno Leroy has been an active member of Foreign Investors Council since 2003 and co-chaired the Public Institutions Management task force for 10 years, as well as devoting his time to manage the Lycée Français Project for 5 years, from conception to achievement.

Presently, Bruno Leroy is the Vice President of the French Foreign Trade Advisors.
