Cătălina Olteanu has an extensive experience in working with Roma communities in Romania and currently she is member of the National Council for Combating Discrimination. She believes in the power of education in changing life perspective, therefore she is developing, through her educational projects, tools for promoting tolerance and interculturality among Roma and non-Roma students. Her main areas of interest are: inclusive education, youth empowerment and community development. Cătălina  graduated the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Romani – Spanish and also holds a Master from the same Department.
