Claudiu Manta has been a member of the Romanian Parliament since December 2020. He currently serves as Vice President of the Committee on Economic Policy, Reform, and Privatization and is also a member of the Committee for Industries and Services.

Professionally, he is a public notary in Târgu Jiu, the capital of Gorj County. Additionally, he has been a university lecturer (Ph.D.) at the Faculty of Legal Sciences at Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu since February 1, 2007, specializing in civil and commercial law.

His educational background includes studies at Tudor Vladimirescu National High School in Târgu Jiu, Gorj County (1996–2000), where he specialized in philology and history. He later earned a law degree from the University of Bucharest (2000–2004). Furthermore, he obtained a Doctor of Law degree from Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest (2004–2009).
