
Codru Vrabie

Codru Vrabie is an activist, trainer and consultant in the field of good governance, with special interests in anti-corruption reforms in public administration and justice. Since 1998, Codru worked with and represented several civil society organizations, at local, national and international levels. With bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and General Theory of Law, master’s in European Public Affairs and Public Administration, Codru promotes participatory democracy, accountability and transparency in the public sector. During 2007-12, Codru represented civil society organizations on the National Integrity Council; during 2010-14 he served on the Steering Committee of the international Freedom of Information Advocates Network–FOIAnet; in 2013, Codru analyzed Romania’s progress within OGP/IRM–the Open Government Partnership’s Independent Review Mechanism; since 2010, Codru is involved in the “Leaders for Justice” program, that is now replicated in the Republic of Moldova, since 2017.
