Constantin-Alexandru Manda is an attorney-at-law by profession, currently serving as Advisor to the Minister of Energy. Alexandru Manda is also the Founder and President of the Agora Center for Democracy and the initiator of the Young People’s Vote campaign, a project that aims to increase the turnout of young people in the 2024 elections. 

Previously, he served as Advisor to the Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization and as Advisor on Education and Research within the Prime Minister Chancellery. Alexandru Manda also has extensive experience as a policy consultant for international organizations, private sector, and civil society organizations. He believes in the power of civic engagement, authorities’ public responsibility, and structural changes made through evidence-based policies.

As a voice of children and youth, he advocated for every child’s right to free access to quality education and coordinated successful advocacy initiatives. Between 2022 and 2023, Alexandru Manda represented Romanian young people within the Council of Europe’s Advisory Council on Youth. In 2021, he was awarded Young European of the Year and included in Forbes Romania 30 under 30.

Alexandru is a law graduate at the University of Bucharest, and he is currently enrolled in the Academy of Young Diplomats, a program organized by the European Academy of Diplomacy. Between 2021 and 2022, Alexandru Manda was part of the Public Policy New Voices Europe program, organized by the Salzburg Global Seminar.
