Mr. Costin Ioan Răsăuțeanu was born on February 24, 1980, in Constanta. He is Deputy Mayor of Constanta Municipality since November 2015 and his main responsibility is to coordinate the activity of all functional compartments delegated by the Mayor.

During the period 2013-2015 Mr. Răsăuțeanu was the General Manager of the Local Group ”Dobrogea Nord” Association.  

Between 2011 and 2015 he was President of ”PRO CHARTA” Association for Solidarity and Freedom and also Administrator of S.C. Social Group Advertising S.R.L.

He held the position of Vice President of ”Euro Litoral” Association for the Development of Southern Romanian Seaside in 2010, and he was Regional Expert in several projects developed by ”Europe for Human Development” Association during 2010-2015. 

Between 2012 and 2017 he held the positions of President of the Youth Social and Democrats Organization in Constanta county and also he was a Vice President of the Youth Social and Democrats at national level.

Although he first graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Technology in 2004, his passion for politics motivated him to get his Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences four years later.

He also got a Master’s degree in European Regional Development Policies( University of Economics ) and another one in European Administration and Public Institutions( The Law University and Administrative Sciences).

He has graduated the Foreign Policy and Diplomacy course at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and this year he has obtained a diploma in Internal Affairs Strategic Management at the National College of Internal Affairs. He is also a member of the National Council of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

He is passionate about political philosophy, history and art. 

He is a fellow of the first edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2018 and 2019.
