
Cristiana Flutur

Ms. Cristiana Flutur joined the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) in 2012, as an expert in the Unit for International Relations and European Affairs. Since June 2019, she is the Director for International Affairs of ANCOM, managing the activity of three units that work on international and regional organisations, translations and bilateral cooperation, EU affairs and the organizing of events and travels. Ms. Flutur is also the first woman to hold the position of chair of the Committee for ITU Policy (Com-ITU) and co-president of CEPT (The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations), for a period of three years that started in June 2018. Ms Flutur has also acted as European vice-chair of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 (PP-18) and main coordinator for the European Common Proposals and Positions for PP-18. Ms Flutur is an Economics graduate from the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and holds a master’s degree from the same university in European Economics. She has an extensive experience in the public sector, in both national and international institutions.
Ms. Cristiana Flutur is a fellow of the second edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2019 and 2020.
