Cristina Buzaşu is a policymaker and strategy advisor with a professional experience of more than ten years in international organisations and public administration. She is currently State Advisor in the Romanian government, where she advises the Prime Minister on European Affairs. She has also served as Advisor for European Affairs in the Romanian Presidential Administration, where she facilitated the coordination and smooth running of Romania’s Presidency of the EU Council. Previously, she worked  as Principal Manager at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where she successfully managed a portfolio of technical cooperation projects in the area of good governance in Central and Eastern Europe. Cristina Buzasu also worked as Policy Advisor in the European Parliament and in strategic management consultancy. She graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master’s degree in Political Economy of Europe, and also undertook specialization courses at Cambridge University and Georgetown University.
