Cristina is an energy policy expert with over 10 years of experience in energy policy, regulation, and sustainable development. She has gained expertise in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on energy infrastructure regulatory frameworks and european financing. Cristina is currently the Deputy Director of the ACUE Federation, representing energy distribution and supply companies in Romania. She advocates stable policies that foster investment, efficiency, and the sustainable development of the energy sector.

She holds a degree from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies – Faculty of International Economic Relations and a master’s in management and public administration.

Passionate about leadership and social responsibility, Cristina is actively involved in initiatives addressing energy poverty, social disparities, and animal protection. She is also dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions that align with the EU’s commitment to a just energy transition, ensuring that the development of the energy sector supports clean, affordable energy for all while addressing social disparities and minimizing the impact on vulnerable communities. Through the Aspen Young Leaders Program, she seeks to enhance her leadership skills and contribute to shaping a sustainable and inclusive energy future.
