Prof. Dr. Eng. Daniel-Eugeniu Crunțeanu is currently the General Director of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and the Dean of the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at the National Science and Technology Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania. In this role, he coordinates the Aerospace Propulsion and Environmental Protection and Holistic Space Systems Master’s programs, as well as the Propulsion Systems Bachelor’s program.

He has over 20 years of teaching experience, having progressed through all professional stages to become a university professor. He is also an authorized PhD supervisor in aerospace sciences. Prof. Crunțeanu holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania, and a Master of Science in Public Business Management from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, Romania.

He has served as a project manager for several research initiatives and is a member of the International Association for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM) in Germany and the American Association for Science and Technology. Additionally, he is a reviewer for various academic publications.

With strong analytical skills in top-level management, Prof. Crunțeanu is adept at transforming strategic plans into operational programs. His excellent organizational and managerial abilities are reflected in his leadership roles in both administrative and academic sectors.
