Daniel Popa is a Romanian business leader and entrepreneur born in 1996, specialising in technology-driven solutions for public safety, smart cities, and digital identity.

He is Chief Executive Officer and owner of Presence SE, where he leads company strategy, operations, and partnerships, positioning the firm as a key technology provider in Romania.

In this role, he has developed a strategic partnership with Adaptive Recognition, expanding the Romanian market for advanced OCR, ANPR/ALPR cameras, intelligent document scanners, and software solutions.

Previously, he served as Country Manager at Elsaco, coordinating national operations, managing strategic client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of complex utility and infrastructure projects.
