
Eliza Chirilă Pop

Eliza Chirilă Pop is the Strategic Partnerships and Advocacy Manager within the Corporate Affairs team at AstraZeneca Romania, where she contributes to leveraging the company’s scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on patients’ lives and the medical community. In this role, Eliza develops collaborations with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector to promote patient-centered innovation and to build strategic partnerships that support AstraZeneca’s mission of delivering life-changing medicines.
With a strong background in nonprofit leadership and program management, Eliza has held impactful roles, including Executive Program Director at The Social Incubator, where she managed a national portfolio of over 25 social impact programs. She also served as Country Director for American Councils for International Education, responsible for expanding the team and launching educational initiatives funded by the U.S. Department of State, through the development of diplomatic relations with key government institutions.
Eliza holds an academic degree in law, having graduated from the Faculty of Law, specializing in International Law and Legal Studies at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, where she stood out through active involvement in national-level student representation organizations.
