
Erika Imre

Ms. Erika Imre presently works as a researcher at the Institute for Public Policies in Szeklerland, Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania. In this capacity, she mainly deals with data processing and analysis with the scope of compiling studies and reports for local and regional public policy initiatives. The research institute works closely with the local administration. Ms. Imre’s area of research at the moment is economic development in her wider region, with particular focus on the business sector.
Previously Ms. Imre worked as an international relations consultant for a minority rights advocacy group, which afforded her the opportunity to participate in several human rights conferences organized by both the United Nations, as well as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
Ms. Imre graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Hungarian Language and Literature in 2010 and obtained her Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies two years later. She then went on to study International Relations and European Studies and obtained a second Bachelor’s Degree in 2015.
