Georgian Albu is a strategy and energy professional, with a relevant experience in energy issues and policies.
More broadly, Georgian has 10 years of experience in the field of energy, gained by working in both the public and private sector, specializing in an array of energy issues such as security of supply, energy poverty and sustainable energy strategies. He completed an MBA in Energy Business Administration and has a BSc in Communication and Public Relations.
Georgian acted as Chairman of the Romanian Youth Energy Leadership Programme of the World Energy Council, aiming to contribute to the development of the new generation of young energy professionals in the energy transition process. Furthermore, he has been selected to join the Global Future Energy Leaders and be part of the 26th World Energy Congress.
Driven by his interest both in new technologies and public policies leading towards a clean and affordable energy, Georgian has joined the Intelligent Energy Association, member of the European Community of Practice on Partnership and the Romanian Association for Hydrogen Energy, member of Hydrogen Europe.
At present, he works as a Public Affairs Expert at E.ON Romania, part of E.ON Group, one of the largest utility companies in Europe.
