27, born and raised in Dubasari district, East side of the Republic of Moldova. In 2017, Irina graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the State University of Moldova and followed a two-year master’s program in European Studies at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. As a master’ student in Romania, Irina has experienced one study semester at the Metropolitan University Prague and two international internships.

In 2020, she started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova as an attaché in the Regional Cooperation Unit of the European Integration Division. Advancing national priorities and improving cooperation of the Republic of Moldova with other member states of the regional organizations (such as CEI, GUAM, and BSEC) were among Irina’s key responsibilities.

During 2022 she began her diplomatic career as attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Budapest, being in charge of political affairs and overall bilateral relation with Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She is interested in the European integration process, democracy, good governance, and capacity development of national institutions and organizations for increasing efficiency and resilience.
