Iris Ioana Constantin is policy officer in the Department for Sustainable Development, within the Government’s working apparatus, specializing in international affairs. She has 15 years’ professional experience in the governmental and non-governmental sectors, out of which 11 years involve an international component.

During her career, Iris supported parliamentary election campaigns and MP offices, where she had the privilege of interacting with diverse communities and learn about the role and responsibilities of public office, commitment to a cause, loyalty, trust, integrity.

The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO and later the Department for Sustainable Development offered Iris the chance to make an impact at a multilateral level, within the sphere of international organizations – UN, UNESCO, EU, OECD. She embraces opportunities to represent and promote Romania abroad.

Iris holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and 2 Bachelor’s degrees: in Economics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and in Law from the “Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University of Bucharest.
