Liviu Dorian Mihăilescu is coordinating a unit specialized in management of European Funds and plays an active role in the management of Certifying and Paying Authority, in strategic planning, setting objectives and tackle the challenges the organisation is confronting with. He is also part of the management committee of the European Network of Certifying Authorities.

During his experience of more than 15 years in public administration he dealt with a large variety of areas such as policy cycle, project planning, risk analysis, financial management and control, audit but mostly, with the management of EU funds.

Since early formation years he was involved in associative experiences, leading a youth organisation of a political party, collaborating with National Democratic Institute and being involved in all sort of multicultural experiences. 

He is a graduate of MBA in public service at Birmingham University, but also of Young Professional Scheme, a fast track programme designed to bring change in Romanian public administration management.

Liviu Dorian Mihăilescu is a fellow of the second edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2019 and 2020.
