Lucian Bogdănel is currently a Member of the Chamber of Deputies, where he continues to contribute to the legislative process. He is the former Prefect of Bacău County, a high-profile and demanding public office that requires strong leadership skills. He ensured the legality of administrative acts, coordinated devolved institutions and government agencies with local representation to achieve the objectives outlined in the government program, and managed emergency situations as head of the County’s Emergency Situations Committee (CJSU).

Prior to his current role, Lucian served as Local Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament (Mr. Dragoș Benea), where he was responsible for strategic planning and communication. He coordinated the MEP’s public communication and developed political and communication strategies related to documents approved at the European Parliament level (regulations, reports, resolutions, etc.). His specific skills and responsibilities included strategic political planning, organizing both online and offline communication, and providing political advice across three levels of activity: MEP, regional vice-president of PSD, and president of PSD Bacău.

For more than three years, Lucian worked as an Advisor at the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Bacău. He coordinated the activities of the Mayor’s Office services, oversaw the Mayor’s public communication activities, developed political planning strategies, and managed the implementation of European-funded projects, such as those part of SIDU and PMUD.

Additionally, as a journalist, he managed and coordinated editorial content for various newspapers.

Lucian holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations, Institutions, and Organizations, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in History.
