Magda Lungu is a graduate of  university studies with degrees of economics and  philology, as well as master’s studies in European Project Management. She has gained experience in planning and programming processes at regional level since 2002, when she joined the Regional Development Agency South-West Oltenia. She participated in the strategic planning process in the South-West Region which resulted in the elaboration of the Regional Development Plan for the periods: 2004-2006, 2007-2013, 2014-2020. She contributed to the establishment of regional partner structures involved in the planning process, as well as to the development of the regional project portfolio, providing technical assistance to potential beneficiaries.

Magda Lungu is certified as an authorized public procurement expert, project manager, and currently performs the position of Head of Programming and ROP Monitoring Department within RDA South-West Oltenia.

Magda Lungu is a fellow of the third edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, Spring Cohort 2021.
