Mamuka Tsikhelashvili, a recipient of the Order of Merit, has been a Research Fellow at the Diplomatic Institute since 2018.

Since 1997, he has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Tsikhelashvili served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Norway.

From 2003 to 2007, he was Consul at the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia.
