Maria – Cristina is is a specialist inspector within the General Directorate for the Implementation of the Educated Romania Project at the Ministry of Education. She was the director of the Dâmbovița County Resource and Educational Assistance Center and the Special Secondary School in Târgoviște, where she ensured the development of community relations through executive management in accordance with the powers conferred by regulations and orders in force, as well as with the decisions of the Board of Administration.
She is a school counselor with more than 15 years of experience in the field, a trainer for adults, and has experience in implementing programs for adolescents and adults in psycho-pedagogical assistance and counseling. She is also a member of the body of experts in educational management. She has been a mentor teacher for the professional integration of trainee school counselors, a Methodist teacher for psycho-pedagogical assistance, and a coordinator of project implementation teams with European funding. She has been involved in volunteer programs at the local level with the Save the Children Organization and at the county level, as the coordinator of the National Community Action Strategy (NCAS). She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences with a major in Pedagogy, the Faculty of Psychology with a major in Psychology, the complementary professional training course in “Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychopathology,” and the Master’s Program in “School Counseling and Career Development.”
