
Mariana Mițco

Mariana Mițco joined the Aspen Institute Romania as a Financial and Administrative Coordinator in September 2024. She contributes to the coordination and implementation of public projects, including the organization of large-scale events such as the Bucharest Forum, as well as leadership programs, providing administrative and logistical support.
Previously, Mariana served as a Program Coordinator at the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, part of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, in Bucharest, where she coordinated over 100 projects from Ukraine, managing communication with beneficiaries and ensuring continuous project monitoring.
With a master’s degree in International Management and International Relations from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the State University of Moldova, Mariana brings both academic expertise and practical skills to support complex projects.
Mariana Mițco is fluent in Romanian and English.
