A lawyer by education, Marius Lungu has more than 10 years experience in the energy sector, working across a number of cases advising on regulatory and competition issues in Central and South Eastern Europe. He is currently serving as a policy officer in the Recovery and Resilience Task Force at the European Commission, where he is responsible for the energy components of Romania’s and Bulgaria’s Recovery and Resilience Plans and their REPowerEU chapters. Prior to joining the Task Force, he worked on competition policy at Directorate General for Competition and the Romanian Competition Council.
