With a background in Political Science, Mihai has been working in the field of national security dealing with EU affairs, public communication and innovation management. His main subjects of interest include good governance, international relations and development, and intelligence sector reform.

Mihai has earned his BA from the University of Bucharest, graduated an MSc in International Administration and Global Governance from Gothenburg University in Sweden, and defended his PhD thesis in Political Science at the University of Bucharest.

In his professional pursuits, he has worked as a researcher within the Quality of Government Institute at Gothenburg University, and is currently an expert within the Romanian Intelligence Service.
