Mihai Dolhescu is a Counsel in the Finance practice of Clifford Chance Badea, the local office of one of the world’s pre-eminent Magic Circle law firms. Educated in Law and Banking & Finance, including a Master’s degree focused on Banking & Capital Markets, he joined the Clifford Chance Badea team after being admitted to the Bucharest bar, following internships with Big 4 entities and credit institutions, alongside other leadership programs, which provided a strong understanding of the sophisticated business environment.

Mihai is working on complex projects and matters for well-known international financial institutions and corporate clients, acquiring expertise in a broad range of areas including corporate finance, municipal finance, real estate finance, asset finance, contractual and commercial law, white-collar crime, and regulatory issues affecting various sectors. His extensive experience also includes a legal function within a flagship real estate investment fund, where he supported capital procurement and investment operations. Through this diverse work, Mihai has learned the importance of ethical leadership and civic responsibility.
