Mihai is an intelligence officer with formal training in intelligence studies, political science and psychology. He has a work experience of over 5 years in dealing with foreign threats, collecting and assessing intelligence and providing substantiation for complex management decisions. He has completed BA studies at the ‘Mihai Viteazul’ National Intelligence Academy in Bucharest and has pursued an MA in Comparative Politics at the University of Bucharest. His main academic areas of interest are East European politics and societies, European constitutionalism and EU foreign and security policy. Mihai is currently an advisor to the Deputy Director of the Romanian Intelligence Service, position that involves tackling analytical processes and institutional reform. He is also inclined towards the education and training of future intelligence officers, being involved in lecturing activities at the National Intelligence Academy. Mihai has a positive character, enjoys social interactions and is passionate about innovation and social development. He is a listening analyst that values good readings and forest strolls in a jovial company.
