Oana Dumitru is an ESG Specialist at Towards0, where she focuses on sustainability strategies and corporate responsibility.

Previously, she was part of the Leadership Programs Department at the Aspen Institute Romania, joining in the spring of 2022 as a Leadership Programs Coordinator. In this role, she contributed to organizing leadership programs, communicating with participants and partners, providing administrative support, and coordinating logistical arrangements.

Between 2016 and 2019, Oana was actively involved in EFdeN, a student-led NGO dedicated to making Romania more sustainable through better housing, products, and education. She led the Communication Department for the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018 competition, overseeing the Communication and Sustainability Contests. During this period, she participated in the 2017 cohort of the Aspen Junior Seminar, which deepened her interest in values-based leadership and the mission of the Aspen Institute Romania.

Before joining the Aspen Institute Romania, she worked in the private sector as a building services engineer at VINCI Energies Romania, gaining experience in innovation and industrial project bidding.

Oana holds a BA in Building Services Engineering (French Department) from the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest, Faculty of Building Services. She is currently pursuing an MA in Applied Ethics in Society, Organizations, and Business at the University of Bucharest.
