Oana Husanu is a tax inspector for the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (NAFA) with 15years of experience, working alongside fiscal experts from the public administration field. Throughout her education she was immersed into the English language and the culture of other countries, starting from early education as student of William Shakespeare school, continued with a scholarship at a United World College in Canada and furthered with her studies in both International Relations and Economics Majors at the West University of Timisoara.

Her career journey has started as an economist with an NGO that provided abused and abandoned children with a home, and continued as a tax inspector with the county fiscal administration. Further on she has gained experience as a Chartered Tax Advisor in a Big Four tax company, PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania, before returning in the public service as a tax inspector for the NAFA. Oana’s current job has given her the opportunity to offer taxpayers professional and digitalized services related to legislative needs, train university students, middle school students as well as foreign investors about the Romanian taxation system. Oana is inspired daily by her husband and son. In her free time she enjoys reading and keeping updated about current world affairs.
