Oana was a Member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing the citizens from Bucharest, and she held her first mandate in the Romanian Parliament.. As a member of the Industry Committee, she organized the Conference about energy efficiency, and she brought together the members of the Parliament, representatives of the Government, Universities and Ambassadors from Denmark, Germany, Spain, Turkey. She also created a group with 16 members of the Industry Committee with a major task to update the legislation about hydrogen.

 She strongly believes in the importance of professionalism in political life, the role of debate and collaboration with all representatives of the society. Her strong values as: democracy, equality, dialog and collaboration are significant bases of her activity and she believes that she is able to set a different tone of the top at political level and a different choice for the citizens.
