Ovidiu is a 43 years old happy father of a beautiful young girl, of 9 – Sofia –  and the lucky husband of his  lovely wife Camelia. 

He is a graduated engineer and also has a Master degree in European Projects Managements obtained in  University of Craiova. 

Ovidiu has worked at RDA SW Oltenia since 2009. His field of activity relies on regional development with  focus on coordinating a team of 16 members which are monitoring about 1400 projects that are financed  through Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. 

He is focused on self-improvement in order to get better solutions which increase the rate of the ROP  beneficiary to implement their projects and finally to improve the life quality of the final recipients – the  people of our region – South West Oltenia. He is a dynamic, proactive, solution-oriented person. 

Ovidiu likes reading about Romanian’s contemporary history from which he tries to understand the  geopolitical guidelines of today. 

Ovidiu is a passionate fisherman who loves to travel to places like Sweden where he has the occasion to  find and catch beautiful fishes such as pikes. 

He also loves to go hiking, to explore the immensity and the beauty of nature, in front of which we are so  insignificant. He likes to travel in other countries and learn about their culture, history and gastronomy.
