Radu Hanga has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) since 2020 and of the Central Depository since 2023. Starting June 2023, he has also served as President of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS).

Previously, between 2017 and 2020, he was a member of the BVB Board of Directors. From 2020 to 2022, he was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Romanian Fund Managers’ Association (AAF). Earlier, between 2015 and 2020, Mr. Hanga served as President of AAF.

He has extensive experience in financial markets, holding a Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD, a Master in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School/Envisia, an MBA (IDE), postgraduate studies in Business Administration (European Institute of Business Administration – Babeș-Bolyai University), specialization courses in the International Financial System (IBR in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Scotland), and participated in the Erasmus Program (University of East London).
