
Rodica Nicoara

Rodica Nicoara, born in Zăicani, Rîșcani, Republic of Moldova, is the Deputy Head of the General Directorate for Strategic Planning and Policy Coordination and Head of the Strategic Planning Directorate within the State Chancellery. In this role, she oversees the processes of public policy planning and monitoring, ensuring the coordination of national priorities and their alignment with Moldova’s international commitments.
With over two decades of experience in public administration, Rodica has dedicated her career to improving the functioning of state institutions, promoting transparency and efficiency in the public sector. A graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and a participant in numerous international training programs, she possesses advanced expertise in public policy coordination, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, gender mainstreaming, and policy impact assessment.
In her work, she prioritizes the development of a collaborative and motivating work environment, fostering performance and team growth. Through her participation in the Public Sector Leadership Program, she aims to actively contribute to the modernization of state institutions and support the European integration of the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the significant transformations the country is undergoing.
