With over 20 years of experience in top-level management across both the private and public sectors, Oana Zaharia has developed high-level skills in managing and mentoring multi-level organizations. Her expertise spans fields such as monuments preservation, tourism promotion of heritage, cultural projects, public procurement, and high-level management.

Her current focus is on developing innovative financing programs and schemes for the restoration of national heritage, as well as promoting heritage education through impactful projects at both the national and international levels.

Oana is the General Manager at the National Heritage Institute of Romania, following a 3-and-a-half-year mandate as General Manager of the Municipality of Bucharest’s Administration of Monuments and Tourist Heritage. She also served as the personal cultural advisor to the President of the County Council of Constanța.

She graduated from Romanian-American University in Bucharest with a degree in Economics, specializing in Managerial Informatics.
