Veronica is the founder of the first Romanian digital Think-Tank – Digital Citizens – connecting Romanian digital innovators and everyday digital citizens with European and Transatlantic opportunities and debates.

She is a professional with more than 14 years of experience, working in both national and international contexts, in areas related to digital transformation, education, innovation and multi-stakeholder cooperation.

Starting with 2015, Veronica has worked intensively at the intersection of new technologies, human rights and digital governance. Her international experience includes positions such as – researcher on Youth inclusion and digitalization for the Youth Partnership between the European Union and Council of Europe, member of the Media Literacy Task Force of the North-South Centre, trainer and expert in various Internet Governance Forum initiatives. In 2018 she coordinated a series of digital events in preparation of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, promoting a stronger participation of Romanian stakeholders in EU digital governance, as well as a stronger European digital agenda.

Considering her background in the youth movement, including as President of the Romanian Youth Council, Veronica holds a strong attachment for youth-related projects, looking to empower the younger generations in shaping and taking full advantage of the new technologies.
