Victor Andrei Dimitriu
Fellow 2024
Andrei Dimitriu was born in Bucharest, studied at the Gheorghe Șincai National College, and completed his university studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. He later pursued a master’s degree in the same faculty, specializing in European Union law.
During his university years, Andrei was actively involved in numerous volunteer activities both in Romania and abroad, driven by his belief in the power of leading by example. One of the first challenges of his professional life was working within a central public institution, the Permanent Electoral Authority, as an adviser to the vice president—a position he still holds today.
As part of his professional development, he attended various courses in diplomacy at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute. Additionally, since 2020, Andrei has been a certified mediator, a profession he developed a passion for during his university studies.
Currently, he serves as Deputy General Director of the National Company of Mineral Waters, a position he has held since 2021, after previously being a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Committed to continuous professional growth, Andrei recently completed the Managing People and Teams course at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
