Vlad is an award-winning tech entrepreneur and youth ambassador focused on social development and education. Besides his international business experience, he was included in Romania’s official delegation to the United Nations where he delivered a speech to the General Assembly and participated in resolution negotiations.

Born in Brasov, Romania, he continued his studies in the Netherlands and Japan, graduating with a business degree at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences. During his studies, he started his first business venture at 22, as well as working in the corporate sector. At Procter & Gamble he was responsible for bringing the whole supply chain to the highest social sustainability standards in the FMCG market. In 2017 he founded ClarK, a startup that designs augmented reality headsets that help employees in their day-to-day job. For this he took a novel approach, participating in hackathons and engaging communities to build know-how and international exposure for the project.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown, he helped kickstart the viziere.ro project, producing over 250.000 face shields in a network of workshops, giving them to medical staff and others at risk. Sociable and eager to learn, Vlad has the capacity to find win-win solutions and knows how to negotiate the way to true added value in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
