18 Decembrie 2025•Written by Aspen Institute
The Aspen-GMF Bucharest Forum 2025 convened leaders, policymakers, and experts to examine a New Era of Global Instability, shaped by overlapping security, economic, technological, and societal transformations. Organized by the Aspen Institute Romania and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the 14th edition of the Forum reaffirmed its role as a strategic platform for dialogue at the crossroads of Europe, the Black Sea, and the Transatlantic space.
Discussions focused on resilience and cohesion as foundations for competitiveness, addressing European security priorities, energy security and supply chains, digital transformation and AI governance, strategic capital and investment in the CEE region, sustainable development and smart cities, global connectivity initiatives such as IMEC, and the role of trust, literacy, and national branding in an increasingly fragmented world.
