Marcel Spatari is Director of Syndex Romania and lead expert for European trade unions from industrial and commerce sectors, European Works Councils, Romanian Trade Union Confederations and other national trade unions. He provides economic and technical expertise to EWCs: ArcelorMittal (expert since 2010, lead expert since 2016), Tata Steel, Holcim, GE Power Conversion and other, carries research activities on issues related to workers’ situation in Romania and Europe: European and national social dialogue and industrial relations, life standards and living wage, future of industry and trade etc. He holds the degrees of MA in European Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (College of Europe Natolin), MBA CAAE (Université de Nantes), BA in Political Science.
