Thibault Muzergues has been working at the International Republican Institute‘s Europe Regional Office since 2011, and currently serves as its Europe and Euro-Med Program Director, based in Rome, Italy. Prior to his arrival at IRI, Thibault worked for 5 years as a fundraiser and direct marketing consultant to France’s leading party UMP and Nicolas Sarkozy, and for the London Conservatives in the UK as an advisor at regional and local levels.

Muzergues is also a writer, and authored The Great Class Shift: How New Social Class Structures are Redefining Western Politics (Routledge, 2019) and War in Europe? From Impossible War to Improbable Peace (Routledge, 2022). He is a regular contributor to the political debate in France, Italy, Spain and the United States, and has signed editorials in outlets such as The National Interest, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Il Foglio or El Mundo.
